The polar bears are in serious trouble from the melting ice cap. Most of
their protein comes from seals which they stalk by watching the breathing
holes. No ice, no food. Who knows what happens if they have to move south.

This is actually rather frightening! Polar bears consider
humans to be a viable food source--probably as good eating as a
nicely marbled Iowa Steak. Grizzlys consider us to be one step
below roadkill--gotta have plenty of catsup. The thought of an
entire population of these predators in the forests seeking out
human flesh is not pleasant.
