bought Chinon to obtain the ability to make consumer digital cameras
and dropped their DSLR seemingly ignoring the then obvious fact that
digicams were low profit and DSLRs were high profit. They just
announced more big losses and a move of the manufacture of Kodak
branded cameras to Flextronics who also makes "Polaroid" cameras. 500
more people on the street. Declining product, losses, and no apparent
plan. Too bad.
