Olympus has always been a small manufacturer and did their lenses in
batches even back in the OM halcyon days. It requires a pretty good
crystal ball to estimate demand, I would say. Plus they may use the
same subcontractors as some other makers and it may be a matter of
standing in line for scarce manufacturing resources since everyone is
pushing DSLRs now. Just be patient.
