When I bought my SP80-200, it had a moderate amount of zoom creep but perfect glass. For a quick fix, I went back to my old company and got 2 o-rings (different sizes) out of the parts drawers and placed them on the lens barrel - front and back of the zoom slider. A slight PITA to use but for tripod work just set up, zoom, & roll the proper o-ring against the slider. Still using it. Hope this helps. ============================================== List usage info: http://www.zuikoholic.com List nannies: olympusadmin@xxxxxxxxxx ============================================== |
