Jeff, come on. A 350 cat vs. the 300/4.5? There's little commonality
there. Like a Smart Car vs. a Maybach (size wise).
Truthfully, I think it may have more to do with the relative rarity of
the little mirror lenses. Not sure. I've got a really off brand one
(couldn't even tell you what it is as I sit here at work). It really is
a tiny thing.

I've never understood why the little Tamron 350/5.6 sells for so much

than most other catadioptric lenses. 290005204692 currently at $280 with

hours to go.
The lenses are fast enough to be focused fairly easy and have a short
enough
focal length to be hand held, but I've never seen anyone promoting them
as a
great lens. The Zuiko 300/4.5 isn't too large nor heavy. Even the Tamron
SP
60-300 is as fast as the little cat and not much more conspicuous.
Puzzled ???
