There is one part of the lighting in those branches which reinforces my belief
that the sun was low to the right of the photographer, and that the
photographer was in a valley (hence the band of hill-shadow on the right).
One of the lighted branches shows the shadow of the branch to the right of it.
In my opinion, FWIW, this is one of those fleeting and fortuitous events that
just happened to get captured. Also, a lens as wide as described here
recently, is not necessarily required to get all of a single or double rainbow.
I
have caught them with the Zuiko 35-105 lens. Maybe the angle of the sun in
relation to the sight-line of the photographer, varies the required angle.
I think it is genuine.
