It's summer and almost time for prumes, so I'll join in on this one:
Our fog is so thick you can't see 1,5m ahead, but that's in
autumn/winter when the sun is only partially coming up, if ever (that
is what it seems like). These are simply "grey days" with fog lasting
for the whole day, and sometimes even week. (In dutch this is called
"erwtensoep", translated: pea soup). It is like being in a dream, with
only some subdued sound and no view. And it is really boring and
depressing as well.
But from the second floor, that is only a light fog!
