We usually go for about 14 to 18 days, and I've never personally seen much 
improvement for me over the day we arrive. One nice advantage of those 
altitudes though, is you don't need to wait much for the tea to cool. You 
never burn your tongue on hot tea or soup at 14,000 feet.
