A friend purchased an E-300 about a year ago and started to experience
a strange
problem with the camera. It would just freeze up. She sent the camera
to Olympus
who repaired - replaced the CBA, CCD, CLA'd, and upgraded the firmware. She
finally received the camera back and it happened again. Here is what she
writes:
"I took the camera (E-300) out to play with it for a bit this
afternoon. After about 10 shots, it froze right up, just like before.
Had to remove the battery and replace it to get the camera to function
at all. :-("
It is covered by Oly for 6 months. However, she is at a loss. Also there was
dust speck in the viewfinder.
Any suggestions?
