That doesn't sound like Adobe. They aren't shy about what they charge
for their stuff, but it usually works. Oh, well, all the more reason to
wait on any update.

I'm on the list to be informed when the Win Beta is available. It's a
very interesting looking product. But of course, it will be using the
same core as ACR for Raw files.

RSE is turning out to be pretty good. I still have a bit to learn about
what comes out depending on what settings I use in it. Like Lightroom,
it just keeps track of what it did, rather than needing to save a whole
new file. With the number and size of image files I seem to generate,
that is a not inconsiderable advantage.
One may, of course do the same thing in PS, by recording and saving an
action for each file edited, but it's not automated.
