Haven't been following this thread, but the 24/2 is my most used lens ever.
Particularly good for
rock climbing. I really like the excellent close up performance because of the
floating element,
also the fast speed gives it some depth of field control, for such a wide lens.
I bought a 21mm
zuiko later , but find I still tend to go for the 24 in preference. I like
wides and also have a
19mm,16mm zuiko and 14mm rectilinear sigma. The 24 is nice for interiors since
you can cover a
complete room from the corner and the bright viewfinder helps focus for such a
wide lens. Of the
other wides, the 16mm zuiko gets far more use than I ever thought likely. The
14mm is unique, but
does not get a lot of use.
