I'm trying to stuff in a solo trip to Isle Royale in the next
several weeks and am contemplating what to haul with me. The key
is that I need to travel very light and be totally self
contained. As much as I want to haul the world with me, that has
to wait until the September trip. :) Sooo, what's important
here? Carrying every bit o kit and killing myself or travelling
extremely lightweight or some form of compromise.
I'm thinking of packing only the IS-3 and the A1. This would
give me two complete duplicate systems (one digital the other
film) that takes me from adequate wide-angle to about 200mm.
Unfortunately, neither are weatherproof and it could be monsoon
season... Ok, maybe the E-1 with the IS-3.
Back to your list? Yikes, too much! I'd trim half the gear
out.
