Hi Martin,
eBay Sellers can select a feature that blocks bids from those buyers that
are registered at addresses outside a seller approved shipping zone. So, if you
are an eBay member with a registered location of Canada, it is likely that
the seller has blocked all sellers in Canada... and probably a lot of other
countries as well.
I use this filter because I'm not too experienced in selling
internationally. I'm getting better at it though.
As a side note, when I sell on eBay, I advise in my listings that buyers
outside of my desired shipping area should email me in advance of bidding for
permission. eBay also has a feature that allows a seller to override the
pre-arranged filter with a preferred Buyer list, for those buyers that the
seller
knows to be in good standing.
