Firefight or wedding . . . ? Hmmm . . .yeah, I'll take the firefight. LOL!!

Horses for courses . . .

I don't shoot a lot of weddings, but with each one I get more
proficient and confident in my ability to deliver what the client
wants. That reduces my stress level. I actually enjoy most of the
process.

The switch from film to digital reduces stress a lot. Knowing I have
the shots I need through each step of the process is very helpful.
And depending on the clients, I'll give them periodic looks at the LCD
which builds their confidence and cooperation.

Also, we (my wife and I) make sure we have as clear a time line as we
can get so we can be in place to get the pix the clients want. While
gathering this info we also get a good idea of their expectations and
do our best to address them. I remain amazed at the number of brides
who want and appreciate well executed formal portraits. The PJ shots
often elicit a "That's cool!" response but the formals usually make up
the bulk of the album they purchase. Or maybe my PJ skills need
improvement. ;o)
