There was a recent thread on dpreview started by a guy that had dust in his
viewfinder. He used compressed air and ended up with a mess on his sensor.
It's interesting to hear the VisibleDust brush was no better. It was
promoted as the best thing ... I guess I better stock up on PecPads. Do you
have a guess if you're picking up dust while the camera is in your bag, when
the lens extends, or just while you change lenses?
I wonder if a google for changing lenses in a dust storm would turn up
someone with a lot of experience.

Like how to clean the sensor in the field? I have tried the VisibleDust
sensor brush and it worked no different than a nylon art brush. Removes some
dust but smears the rest around. Pretty worthless in my opinion. The CO2
duster works better than the brush. Next finer cleaning requires a single
pass swipe with ethanol/methanol on a PecPad wrapped around a thin piece of
plastic (like credit card or thinner).
Beyond that it is the healing brush in PS.
The CO2 duster gets the big stuff, the fine stuff is only a problem at F11
or higher. Dust is certainly an advantage with the E-1.
