I wonder if it was taken with the 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6 DO IS lens. The "DO" is "diffractive optics" and looks like an element with concentric rings on it. From some shots I saw these rings tend to replicate themselves in the bokeh. Truly ugly. Worse than a mirror lens.
