I opted for the 486RC2 which is a solid ball head. I have additional questions
regarding
monopods - I own the Manfrotto 676b which is now a very inexpensive monopod,
however it
supposedly supports 10 lbs. While other higher priced monopods support 5,6, or
7 pounds. I
suspect they are heavier duty. My monopod is a 3-section while others are 4
section and 5
section. What does all that mean to me?
For now I am going to stick with the 676B for now and the 486rc2 head for now.
