Hi Bernard,
I found the strange bokeh a little off putting at first but it grew on me
and by keeping it I was able to keep just about all the frame. The second
shot (robin) was cropped from horizontal to vertical.
You may be right about the cause of the strange bokeh, I am a bit baffled by
it. I was out at dawn and starting shooting hand held as soon as the light
was good enough for 500th/1000th @ 2.8.
