"48 mm and 70 mm equivalents" - Yeah I figured it would double
with the adapter. Does anyone have any sample shots using a shift lens with an
E-series?

They work with the adapter. The limitation is that they aren't very wide
angle, becoming 48 mm and 70 mm equivalents.
