Tumble? - nah, they bounced.
I did see one that ran into the back of a Land Rover - nothing much
left in front of the bulkhead. Good crumple characteristics. The LR
had a scratched rear bar. Strangely, I believe that they were
reasonably safe as you couldn't go fast enough to do much damage.
