Personally I use a Whibal:

With it the aim is rather to adjust the WB in the raw converter 
(although you can use it to set a custom WB when shooting JPEG, but I 
never shoot JPG...).

Less expensive than the ExpoDisc I think, and you don't need to screw 
it to the lens then remove it. Just a tiny deck of cards in a pocket 
of your bag...
