Probably because it puts too much stress on the thing. Think leverage, etc.
You maybe can get away with using a single extension tube, surely the 7mm one,
on the front, which I admit to having done once or twice when too lazy to go
fetch the bellows and change the setup, but I wouldn't couple two together, and
I certainly wouldn't put even one between the 65-116 and the camera body.
Like they say, your mileage may be closer than it appears. Or some such.
