Umm, should that work in "A" mode? My initial experiments with myh E-300
and Tamron 90/2.5 were done in manual mode, and didn't show up any
unexpected oddities that I recall... unless you count the daft "thumbwheel
tries to change aperture until you say otherwise, then resets after each
shot" behaviour which makes no sense when the camera cannot possibly have
any control over the aperture.
I guess it seems logical that "A" mode ought to work, but you just never
know with these things.
