Fernando, a complete guess on my part is that the apertures are
those sufficient to record the streak of firework in its colour
without "blowing out" too bright on the specified film. I am
wondering if an aperture of 4.5 on an "ASA 1000" film might show
only show as a white streak instead of its full colour. In
other words, the shutter speed is assumed to be "Bulb" (or in
whole seconds).
As mentioned though, this is a completely uneducated guess. :-)
