Are you saying that it's the buyers fault, if the buyer thinks "New" from
"olympususa" is a new, unused item from Olympus?
No, but if I did, it would be my fault. He is deceptive and I said that is
why it is distasteful defending some of what he does.
I suspect many people would pay more for the same thing if it came from
Olympus America than from Joe's Pawn shop. I think Alex benefits
significantly by appearing to be "Olympus".
We are in agreement.
Everybody gets to decide what is
acceptable and what is unacceptable deception.
I would fall on the side of no deception is acceptable when you are trying
to get me to spend my dollars.
I've been tempted to buy a
couple things from Alex but haven't because for me he is on the wrong side
of the line.
With the proper questions, I can define the parameters of the transaction.
I've not bought from him the past and might if there was something I wanted
and felt like it was being bought at a reasonable price. Might have to hold
my nose while we made the exchange. Bill Barber
