Both of mine say "Lens Made in Japan" on the lens mount. The lower serial
no. lens does not have the TNQA stamp but it may have been washed off at
some point in its life.

I have one of the late 35mm shifts, LNIB.
The coating on this lens is different, and with mine it has a
purple-greenish color.
The lens serial is the best way to know, it should read over 11X.XXX
for the later version, assuming the ring wasn't replaced.
On the lens mount it just reads "japan" on mine, on the inside there is
the following code: TNQA.
That's all I know.
Iwert.
