I was just on Sigma's website <http://www.sigmaphoto.com/> reviewing
their recent 4/3 and other lens announcements. I was getting confused
by the plethora of acronyms they use to describe their technologies
(APO, DC, DG, HSM, etc. etc.) so I clicked on one to get the legend that
tells what they all mean. Much to my surprise I discovered that one of
the entries is "OS (Optical Stabilizer) Function".
I thought that was a bit strange since I didn't recall that Sigma had
announced any lens with optical stabilization. Checking through their
list of long lenses (especially the new ones) I can't find any that have
tha "OS" attached.
Guess the programmers have just stuck "OS" in there in case it's needed
some day, eh? :-)
