Hi guys,
Good! With my list-access restored just in time, I am glad to announce
that I have successfully made a choice for the TOPE 25th "anniversary"
lens, and that it just came in by mail! :)))
I will not yet completely reveal what it is (at least not explicitly),
as I have some plans going through my mind which will be realised if I
can find the time for it.
Yet... Of course you guys will at least want a hint as to what I chose,
right?

Of course all you die-hard OM lovers will directly recognise it, but if
that's not the case, you can ponder somewhat longer on it...;)
Jaap, Hans and William already know what it is, so they should not send
any on-list replies that reveals the nature of the lens. :D
BTW: do check out that nice silver nose glimmer; though this eventually
was the down-fall of the esthetically more pleasing silver noses, I have
always loved those lenses for their cool appearance!
Also, this lens is a very special one, which came from Jaap's own
collection, the serial no. is 1003xx, meaning that it was amongst the
first 400 of those lenses that was ever made. :D
All in all it is a very cool lens, and I'm looking forward to the
weekend so it can get some play.
Once more I would like to extend a HUGE "thank you" to the list members
who donated money (as well as all the others who participate in TOPE
and/or other matters that still promote the Oly community), as well as
to Jaap Korten (for sending me this very nice lens, which most likely
has a higher value than the budget that was collected).
