Take a look at
http://www.hemy.me.uk/Miscellany/TamronMFLenses.htm
It shows a single version made from 1983 to 1992 but keep in mind the table
is for manual focus lenses. Some Tamron lenses were made in autofocus mounts
long after the manual focus was discontinued.

Hello,
Are there different versions of tamron 80-200mm f2.8 ? If so, which
one is the best ? I've seen a sale mentioning LD,
http://cgi.ebay.com/Tamron-80-200mm-f2-8-LD-BBAR-MC-Lens-for-Nikon-AI_W0QQitemZ7590932896QQcategoryZ48556QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
or another SP version
http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?O=productlist&A=details&Q=&sku=800442712&is=USE&addedTroughType=categoryNavigation
but in the olympus lens test, it is SP 80-200mm f/2.8 ED, which is the best.
http://members.aol.com/olympusom/lenstests/default.htm
Is SP version of bhphoto as same as SP ED in the test ?
-thanks
kem.
