I agree with your comments re: the screen. Have just taken a few moments to
handle and appreciate the Sensorex. Very substantially engineered.
The Cosina version was simply a marketing ploy by Dixons to allude to an old
established brand. It is a K mount (pentax).

I was interested since my first SLR was a Miranda GT. I replaced it
with the OM-1 but hesitated a long time because of the hokey way you had
to change screens in the OM-1. Besides, the OM-1 screens were chintzy
plastic and not made of 1/4" thick glass with a brass frame like a real
screen should be. :-)
Anyhow, does this Miranda badged Cosina use a Miranda mount?
