Bill
Change the PC Mode in the camera to Control, connect it to the 'puter
and start up the cr*ppy Olympus Viewer application. Then use the
Update Firmware option in the Help menu to discover the camera's
version.
It *should* work, but I haven't looked at the (pretty useless)
instructions either ... ;-)
