Still sold out!! I posed the same question. I dont think its been discontinued.
Many resellers are also out of the FL-50.

Does anyone know the status of the FL-36 flash? No one seems to have them and
one website I ran across claims it has been discontinued and that only the
FL-50 is available. Oly America still lists it on their website.
