Jeez man. Someone taking my advice scares the hell out of me. I did buy and
sell a lot of binoculars before settling on some to keep. I think I made a
profit on all of those sold although it was sometimes small. I'm rethinking
the glasses to use for elk hunting though. If I continue to do that will buy
a more robust pair of 9 to 10 x weather resistant glasses that can be
carried without too much weight penalty. There is a guy in the UK that
specializes in used Zeiss binoculars. I have his name someplace. He was very
good to work with. /jmac

I "borrowed" both pairs for a trial, both pairs had
pro's and cons...Was given a very good deal for both
so took James Mc bride's advice. One pair will
eventually make their way to e*buy.
I feel sure I will get more than the cost back.
