I had a chance to experiment with the metering modes today. The f2.8
Tamron SP 80-200 does pretty well. There is little difference between
ESP and CWA. Spot is different but still close. With the f4.5 300
Zuiko, ESP and CWA are both 1/20 sec and Spot is 1/750! (to give one
comparison). Neither is right. Overexposure to one side and under to
the other.
I guess the 300 will have to be used strictly in manual mode henceforth.
