You mean, I think Scott, that you should avoid strikes by
chickens ... ;-)
Bird strikes on jet aircraft are a real danger, but most birds don't
want to get involved and dive away if they see the aircraft in time;
that's one of the reasons for using landing lights. All fast jets
use their lights at low level if they can.
