It's NMOS!
Most computer products are based on CMOS technology because CMOS
is (1) higher density (gigabit cells), (2) faster (Mhz and Ghz
vs Khz), and (3) lower heat dissipation (3.3V instead of 5V in
NMOS).
Why does Olympus uses NMOS? My guess is faster development cycle,
plus higher yields. It's also an indication of much futher
performance down the road when they transfer the design to the
CMOS technology.
