I've used Lacie disks for some years, all in the d2 size and only 120 GB,
with firewire. They have served me well. One of the benefits is that they
are mountable in 19"-racks. I have two on my server (a white and blue g3,
mac os x server 10.3.9) acting as backup drives. Uptime on that machine is
well over 200 days now.
The reason for my to buy the first was of their good reputation in screens.
