It would be cheaper and easier, I think, just to use a semi-silvered
mirror and use a sensor with electronic shutter and preview
capabilities. You would not need much light to just make a preview.
The normal mechanical shutter position would be open. The sensor
could turn on when the mirror goes up and then the shutter would
close and open.
