John,
No reason why you cannot retract/ withdraw your bids, however I must say
that I have purchased items before and for whatever reason, re-sold them
shortly thereafter.
Is it the same item or has he just used the previous seller's auction
listing for a different item?
Ask the question of the Seller. His transactions are in the members' public
domain. Why is he selling so soon? Is it faulty?
Dave

Subject: [OM] OT. E-Bay help please.
Hi all,
Could someone please enlighten me regarding e-bay
policy.
Before christmas I bid - and duly lost - an item on
the bay.
Saw a similar item last week and bid. The item has
not yet reached my maximum bid with 1` day to go. I
have just realised that this is the same item..sold by
the winner of the last bid. The photos, and
description, have just been lifted from the previous
auction ( as it is the same item being resold) I smell
a rat and want to retract my bid...where do I stand?
Regards
John Duggan,
