How could I have doubted?
Yes, pixels should be meaningful, not just slammed in. I don't care
if the new E-thingy comes in at 10MP or so, as long as Oly doesn't
sacrifice any color and handling performance. A live histogram by
some method would mean nearly chimpless shooting again. I hope that's
what's coming. I think I would value that more than IS. Noise is not
an issue for me as the E-1 is still fine in this regard IMHO.
