Boston Beer Co. is religious about freshness. That's why Sam Adams
bottles have a "puchase by" date notched on the label. Just so there's
no financial motivation for the distributor to pawn off old beer on the
consumer, Boston Beer will buy the beer back from the distributor if
it's not sold by the end date.
