I have a friend who would concur. He has numerous brands of photo
equipment including fairly complete systems from Canon and Nikon both
film and digital, Pentax and Bronica MF Gear plus a couple of 4x5's
whose brand I don't know.
His usage though is about 95% Canon digital at this point. And despite
his predilcetion for Canon he constantly complains about two things:
Canon never has figured out how to make a decent wide angle lens nor
have they figured out how to make an accurate exposure meter. If his
photography was heavily dependent on those things the Nikon gear would
come back out of the closet.
