Chaps and Chapesses
I have been playing with Adobe Lightroom since Winsor pointed us to
the Public Beta which is available for download. It is a great piece
of kit, notwithstanding its being under development. For non-Mac
users, there is a video (20 mins long ...) about bits it can do:

Unfortunately, I reckon that this is going to be a priced at the
level of PS and that I shall not be able to afford it ...
