As stated in the article, it's a bit modified, but serves me
extremely well for backpacking, bicycling and low-level macro.
Ok, it's quite a bit modified, but it does the job very nicely.
When working from the jeep, I always have a big honkin Manfrotto
or two with me, but they don't carry well more than 20 minutes
away from the car.
