Perhaps the 35-100 f2 ... ? It should have some pretty nice DOF and minimal
overlap with the 14-45.

They are both equally good lenses in different ways. The 14-54/2.8 excels
on DOF over the standard 14-45/3.5. The 50/2 is great for portraits,
macro, and offers awesome DOF.
