I've isolated some of your statements. (Now that can be dishonest if it
changes the meaning of your original intent, but in this case I don't think
it does.)
Rereading your isolated quotes might be helpful. My question is, if you
don't have the money yet for either, why do you need to choose between the
two? Remember, both cameras will be significantly cheaper in the
not-too-distant future. In the mean time, there are much cheaper OM's that
when used critically will deliver equal results on film, and there are
cheaper alternatives to digital than the E1 that will get you into the fun
of it, and perhaps help you decide if you still hate shooting digital before
spending a lot of cash you don't presently have.
Just my opinion of course, :-)
