I hear you, Scott. I'm sorry we did not provide enough lead time for you
-- and, probably, for others. I will shoulder the responsibility for not
having fit the announcements into my schedule sooner. Brian and I made
some changes to the "rules of engagement" this time and I wanted to make
sure we had that sewn up before the announcement. Between some other
commitments, however, I made the announcement late enough to put people
on a very tight schedule.
Brian and I will be reviewing what worked and didn't work in this
Exchange; obviously one of the "didn't work"s was scheduling. One of my
tasks will be to schedule the behind-the-scenes stuff and announcements
early enough to catch everyone who wants to participate. I might even
try it out on a Spring/Fall Solstice Exchange if everyone else is game.
