Actually I've been shooting with that lens wide open to get enough light for
a decent shutter speed. At ISO 400 I get from 1/100 to 1/200 depending on
the area lighting. If I keep the meter active the shutter lag isn't too much
of a problem. Not as good as with the OMs but the instant images are worth

Presumably that might even allow you to control DoF a bit? Another thing
that isn't usually possible on digitals...
