For years now I've dealt with B&H and never, ever, had a single
problem with them. Total class act. When it came time to buy my
E-1 I took the risk and bought it from Cameta. My experience
with them (and I did have a followup problem that they
resolved), was actually superior to B&H. Totally surprised and
pleased me.
Another place of note is "Porters" here in Iowa. This is
another quality operation (although a bit pricier) and is run by
people that take ethics a little more seriously.
Point is, there are enough places of excellent reputation
offering product at reasonable prices to attempt to save pennies
more with known scumbags.
