Just as we have our favorite fixed guys for our OM cameras, there is also
one for these old folders. Jurgen Kreckle can refurbish you camera and have
the whole thing working like new. He has done a couple of the older uncoated
lens Bessas RF cameras for me and is very reasonable, even when a bellows
needs
replacing. http://www.certo6.com/ is his website. He is sometimes a little
slow with answering his emails, however the work he does will be great and
his pricing IMHO is very reasonable. Seems like the one on which he didn't
have
to replace the bellows was under $100.
I can see no advantage to putting an uncoated lens off of a RF on a Bessa
II. Get your RF fixed and enjoy it. Bill Barber
